MY KA BY LILA MOORE
MY KA is inspired by the theme of the double and Maya Deren’s poem Death by Amnesia (1942). Yet she emerges from the earliest strata of my work—footage, concepts, performances and visions that remained unfinished, veiled by the adversities and ordeals that haunt the path of artists. Only now, through this reawakening, does her form complete itself.
